Saint John’s Program for Real Change will celebrated its 30th anniversary in style with an elegant black tie/red sock soirée titled Party for Change. Party goers helped homeless families in crisis move from homelessness to self-sustainability while enjoying an unforgettable experience at the intersection of local farm-fresh food, art, wine and music.
Because of the nature of the anniversary and celebration, we simplified our event to focus on a gourmet “plate” experience featuring the signature dishes of Chef Michael Chiarello, appetizers by Chefs Patrick Mulvaney and Jay Veregge, and wine tasting by Darrell Corti. Our emcee for the evening was KCRA-3′s Teo Torres.
With help from Sacramento area businesses, donors, local philanthropic organizations and volunteers, we hosted a night that was truly a celebration! Our success stories are tied directly to your support of our program – delivering care, hope, and change to 30,000 people over the past 30 years wouldn’t have been possible without YOU. Real Change happens when brave women walk through our doors and begin the hard work necessary to achieve the goals our comprehensive program provides.
Together at Party for Change, we raised over $340,000 to support the women and children at Saint John’s Program.
Our heartfelt thanks go to all the Saint John’s volunteers. Our organization is extraordinary in large part due to our incredible volunteer base.
