Pursuing Clarity with Jackie T.

Addicted to meth and alcohol, Jackie started using at the age of 13. Moving through her addiction from Las Vegas to Riverside to Sacramento, she ultimately lost custody of her children, suffered from domestic violence and depression and ended up homeless. She knew she needed help, but the pain and devastation she had suffered had caused her to lose herself.

I learned how to address my issues; Saint John’s helped me to find myself and I gained confidence. I was so inspired by the stories of the other women.

Jackie is now reunited with her young son, has a new baby daughter and lives in her own apartment. A graduate of the Saint John’s Employment Training Program, Jackie now works as a caregiver.
