Saint John’s Program for Real Change is a comprehensive 12-18 month residential program for women experiencing homelessness and their children. We provide more than shelter and food. We can help you to rise above devastating, negative elements and achieve job readiness and self-sustainability.
Entry into the program is limited, and each step is extremely rigorous. But those who see it through end up with a rewarding, happy and productive life – for yourself and for your children.

The women that we work with often have nightmare situations they have never been able to speak of, from their present circumstances to what they endured as children. Here, you are heard and can begin to feel valued again — a giant step in building self-esteem and trust. Here, you can identify the demons and plan the work to recovery.
For Women in Crisis
Outside of our full program, we provide short-term relief to women and children in immediate crisis through our Respite Program. We offer housing, mental health and supportive services for up to seven days. During this time, you’ll receive a comprehensive evaluation, services and referrals to help stabilize your current crisis and promote recovery.
